This QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is an Ofqual regulated Qualification.

Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the skills needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, such as performing CPR and dealing with external bleeding. 

You may wish to consider the full Paediatric First Aid 2 day training course if you are responsible for infants and children professionally. The QA Level 3 Award and is recognised by Ofsted and includes the requirements of the appointed person in the workplace.

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification is ideal for anyone who cares for infants and children, such as: parents, guardians, grandparents or those who have a professional involvement with infants and children and want to learn key paediatric first aid skills.

Paediatric First Aid Training one day – Assessment / Certification:

Delegates who successfully complete this Paediatric First Aid Training one day course will receive a QA Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid (QCF). This first aid certificate is valid for 3 years.
