First Aid Annual Refresher Liverpool – The HSE strongly recommends that all first aiders should receive first aid annual refresher training. Delivered in your workplace anywhere in Liverpool, Manchester or across North Wales.
While it is not a requirement, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) highly recommends that individuals who hold qualifications as First Aiders or Emergency First Aiders participate in an annual refresher course to ensure that their skills are up-to-date.
The qualification period for both groups of First Aiders is three years; however, it has been determined that this length of time is too long without any additional training. We can deliver the above courses directly in your workplace in Liverpool.
For current First aiders the course is ideal. Successful candidates will leave with confidence, having had the opportunity to practise essential first-aid procedures.
Covered in just half a day and ideal to satisfy HSE requirements whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day-to-day activities!
This half-day attendance course is available to any first-aider who are still within the three-year certification period. This course ensures that you are up to date on the key techniques in order to administer simple but sometimes life-saving techniques.

In line with the revised First Aid Guidance issued on 1st October 2009 this half-day annual refresher course is suitable for those staff who have completed either the three-day First Aid at Work or the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses.
Participants will have their skills and knowledge updated in order that they remain competent to deliver first aid in the workplace.
Practical demonstration is assessed and observed throughout the course to ensure the learners understanding and skill is achieved.
Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update First Aid Annual Refresher every twelve months – before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.
