This 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course is an essential training program for individuals working in various workplaces, including high-risk environments where accidents or injuries are more likely to occur.

The course is designed to enable delegates to become qualified first aiders, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to save lives. Upon successful completion of the training, delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of first aid awareness, allowing them to act safely, promptly, and effectively in emergency situations until the emergency services arrive on the scene.

The course does not have to be delivered over 3 consecutive days and can be deliver over 3 days within a 10 week period to work with your business needs if required.

Our First Aid at Work (FAW) course is the perfect solution for ensuring your staff receive the necessary training to provide First Aid support during an emergency situation. This Qualification meets all the requirements of the Health and Safety First Aid at Work Regulation 1981 and is ideal for medium or large workplaces with over 50 employees. As well as high-risk environments such as construction sites, manufacturing, or workplaces with heavy machinery.

As an Ofqual regulated first aid training qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training.

Who is the First Aid course suitable for:

A competency-based course, which additionally gives delegates a greater understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of First Aid and to the standards required by the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. On completion of the training, the learners will be able to carry out their duties as the nominated first aider – this level 3 Award (RQF) qualification is valid for 3 years.

Duration:
Three consecutive days with each session lasting six hours. This course can be deliver over 3 days within a 10 week period to meet business needs if required.

The course provides a recognised qualification for the learner as well providing the skills and knowledge to assist in a First Aid situation.

Assessment for this course is ongoing by the instructor throughout the course and involves a number of practical assessments including CPR. On completion of the training, delegates will receive an accredited first aid certificate, valid for 3 Years.
